In December 2019, a novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) emerged in Wuhan of Hubei Province, China. The World Health Organization announced a public health emergency of international significance on 30 January 2020 and classified the threat as a global pandemic on 11 March 2020. More than 8 million confirmed cases and 440 290 deaths have been reported from >200 countries and territories as of 17 June 2020.
Knowledge on the epidemiological features and transmission patterns of COVID-19 is accumulating. Detailed line-list data with household settings can advance the understanding of COVID-19 transmission dynamics.
